Start Of Academic Year

2021 – 2022 academic year starts from Sept, 11th 2021 in person. 

The aim of the Al-wali Saturday School is to equip children/youth 4-20 years (both girls and boys) with the essential knowledge and understanding of Islam so they are able to make choices and lead an Islamic Way of Life. The education provided aims to ensure that children grow up as confident Muslim individuals who are successful in this world and in the Hereafter; and are effective as responsible citizens in the community in which they live.

Courses

Course for Pre-K – 8 Grades

1. Weekend Tahfidh Program – This course is designed for those who want to memorize the Holy Quran

2. Quran   – Our school offers Quran Recitation classes for children and adults. Students learn the art of recitation step by step and in accordance with the rules of Tajweed

3. Surah / DUA Memorization – A session dedicated to memorizing essential Surah’s of the Qur’an and DUA’s through a tried and tested method of oral transmission and repetition.

4. Arabic Language – Arabic language classes offers reading and writing of Arabic vocabulary and Grammar.

5. Hadith – Students are taught the noble Ahadith of Prophet Mohammed (SAW) regarding the daily actions in life such as eating, drinking, respect of parents, good deeds etc.

6. Aqaaid – Students are taught all fundamental aspect of our faith/aqeedah, Holy Books, Angels, Life and Death.

7. Fiqh – Students are taught rules related to Wudhu, Salah, Zakah, Sawm, Hajj, Halal, Haram etc.

8. Seerah / Tareekh – Biography of the Prophets and Messengers (upon them be peace) and early Islamic history.

 

Aalim (Advanced Islamic Learning) Course for 9-12 Grades

Advanced Islamic Learning classes are taught by qualified Alima from South Africa with help of Qualified Male teachers. The Curriculum include:

1. Quran Recitation with Tajweed Rules

2. Quran Tafseer

3. Arabic Grammer (Sarf, Nahv, Qasa un Nabiyyin)

4. Fiqh (Islamic Law)

5. Hadith (Zaad Ut Tallibeen, Riyad ut Saleheen)
